1. Overview
This website, quorim.io (the “Site”), is operated by Quorim, LLC (“Quorim,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an operating company of iAltA. Quorim is building network infrastructure for private credit markets. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit the Site or contact us through it.
This Policy applies to the Site only. The Quorim platform and network services are made available to institutional participants under separate written agreements, and information processed through those services is governed by the terms of those agreements rather than by this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. Providing your name is optional; an email address and message are required so that we can respond.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site and the infrastructure it runs on automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device and operating system characteristics, the pages you view and how you arrived at them, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address. This information is collected through standard server logs and through the security and analytics services described below, and is used to operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the Site.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary. Cloudflare Turnstile, a security service that distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic when you submit the contact form, evaluates technical signals from your browser, including your IP address, for that purpose.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and general information about the devices and regions they visit from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects device identifiers, usage information, and IP addresses on our behalf. You can learn how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them through the cookie notice shown when you first visit the Site; if you decline, they stay off. You can at any time, and you can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to inquiries you send us and manage our communications with you;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including detecting and preventing spam, abuse, and security incidents;
- analyze how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance;
- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service; and
- evaluate interest in Quorim and develop our business relationships.
For visitors located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating the Site and responding to inquiries, your consent where required, and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to operate the Site on our behalf: Cloudflare provides hosting and security services (including Turnstile), Zendesk hosts our inquiry-management system, where contact form submissions are received and handled, and Google provides analytics services (Google Analytics), as described above. These providers process information only to perform services for us.
- Affiliates. We may share information within our corporate family, including with iAltA and its other operating companies, for purposes consistent with this Policy.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quorim, our visitors, or others.
- Corporate transactions. If Quorim is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — typically, for as long as an inquiry or business relationship remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls limiting who may view inquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws with respect to your personal information, which may include the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may also have the rights to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. International Visitors
Quorim is based in the United States, and the Site is hosted and operated there. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, the information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Sites
The Site contains links to third-party websites, such as LinkedIn. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties on their own sites.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Policy or about how we handle personal information, please reach out through our contact page and we will respond promptly.
